Dino Takeover at Welly Park
This August, travel back in time to the Jurassic era at their Dino Takeover and come face to face with life sized dinosaurs, including the fearsome T Rex and mighty Triceratops.
From the moment you arrive, the adventure begins.

Head to the heart of the action for our live dinosaur shows running throughout the day on the Main Green.
Watch dinosaurs roam, learn fascinating facts and experience close encounters with prehistoric giants.

Shows run continuously between 10am and 3pm so there is always something to see.
Dino Dig Site (Enchanted Forest)
Step into the Enchanted Forest and discover the Dino Dig Site, where young explorers can become paleontologists for the day.
Dig for hidden fossils
Learn about prehistoric creatures
Enjoy hands on discovery play
Open from 10:30am to 4:30pm
Ranger Training (Discovery Barn at the Animal Farm)
For an immersive experience, head to the Discovery Barn to take part in Ranger Training.
Junior rangers will muck out enclosures, inspect dinosaur eggs, clean eggs and help with poo clear up duties.
At the end, they will receive their own Ranger Certificate.
