West Berkshire will be honouring the eightieth anniversary in 2024 by hosting a series of events and activities.
A weekend for all, with Commemorations, Parades, Bands, the arrival of the military vehicle convoy, Displays, Veterans and a full programme.
THE LARGEST NAVAL, AIR AND LAND OPERATION IN HISTORY
On 6th June 2024, we commemorate 80 years since the largest seaborne invasion in history, known as D–Day, which marked the beginning of the liberation of Western Europe.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the brave men of the Greatest Generation, whose exceptional service shall never be forgotten- we keep their heroic deeds in our hearts and in our minds.
