Collagraph Printing
Wednesdays 17 Sep, 15 & 29 Oct, 12 & 19 Nov and 17 Dec
10am to 12:30pm – £30 session or £150 for 6 weeks
This workshop is for adults (18+)
Learn and develop your knowledge of this versatile printing process that uses collage as its starting point.
Create plates, ink and print them using a small press.
You will have the opportunity to develop your own themed prints towards a group exhibition in January 2026.
Isabel will show you how to create your own plates using various methods and print them in both monochrome and multi colour inks or without ink (blind embossing).
She will guide you to develop your own ideas to print work ready to exhibit.
What to bring?
- Bring an apron or old shirt, something to carry your prints home in
- Any special paper/or textile to print on (paper needs to be dampened before printing) – tutor will bring white paper
- Tutor will supply all other tools and materials that you need for this session

They offer affordable exhibition space to artists and collaborate with local schools and projects to showcase creativity.
There are opportunities for artists to submit work for their Open Exhibitions each on a particular theme.

Their flagship Chalkfest event takes place every August – they take over the Market Square in Newbury and enjoy brightening up the pavement!
A competition of the chalk drawings is judged by a local artist with prizes for different age groups.
