A market with a difference….
Dream it . . .
This is their third candlelit market and they hope it will be the best yet!
Enjoy live music by local artistes – sip mulled apple juice from villagers’ trees and mulled wine – feast on freshly-cooked delights from Lewis and Karen, their chefs – take part in their free Christmas craft activities – admire the lighting done by the company that does the lighting for big TV shows – and, of course, stock up on presents for your loved ones (and you) from over 40 artisan stallholders showcasing goods that you can’t buy on the high street.
Grow it . . .
Increasingly, they are having to turn away hopeful applications for stalls – the event is known to be atmospheric and great fun!
And give thanks . . .
They couldn’t host this event without the support of an anonymous donor sponsoring the lighting company (you know who you are!), the Betts family who own the courtyards, and the support of local villagers.
Other points . . .
Dogs on lead are welcome.
This is a community event so there are no entry or parking fees.
There is something for everyone, young and old(er).
Disabled Access
The courtyards are all on one level, on gravel.
The loo is accessible, and if you have a blue-badge for your car please let them know and they will do their best to reserve you a space nearby.
You can of course allow passengers to disembark near the shop, then park elsewhere.
