About The Event

A Bucklebury Common walk to record bird sightings.

Meet at The Memorial Hall, Broad Lane, Upper Bucklebury for an 8.30 start and it will last 2.5 to 3 hours.

The purpose of the survey is to assess the improvement for birds of clearing the jungle of holly, birch and scrub to generate more heathland, woodland pasture and open land.

Cattle will also be brought to the site with the aim of keeping the regrowth at bay.

Much of their produce is locally sourced and we use fresh fruit and vegetables from their own kitchen garden.

They also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices available, and they cater for any religious needs upon request.

Blenheim Palace Adventure Play is a hidden world of adventure, where mini explorers of all ages create their own exciting stories as they clamber, climb, paddle, slide, splash and zip through the exciting zones.

Inquisitive minds and vivid imaginations run wild as children explore Blenheim Palace Adventure Play’s amazing network of tunnels, bridges, cargo nets and hidden chambers.

They are currently are embarking on their most ambitious restoration project to date, the major repair of the roof of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
