Kennet and Avon Canal.

Their Newbury Tour starts from the town centre, next to the Tea Shop by the Canal.

After a full safety briefing they head west through the town and into the countryside.

See amazing wildlife throughout the year, with wild flowers along the banks of the Kennet and Avon.

  • Town centre location, ideal for follow on dining and socialising
  • Great coffee and cake at The Teashop By the Canal
  • Suitable for all abilities
  • Their paddleboard tours run for a 90 minute duration
  • They include paddleboards, paddles, leash and bouyancy aid for all of their tours and lessons
  • Tours run on a ratio of 6 persons per instructor/guide
  • Wetsuits are optional and can be hired for £10 per person per session
  • All participants must complete a “Consent and Declaration” form before going on the water
  • Their tours are suitable for people with some previous experience, or if no previous experience you will need a certain level of fitness and flexibility.

  • Paddlers with their own boards are welcome

Blue Lemon Paddleboarding is a BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association) affiliated School.

Following the closure of the UK outbound travel industry in 2020, they took the opportunity to create Blue Lemon Paddleboarding, offering Lessons, Tours, Paddleboard hire and sales, in stunning locations within West Berkshire and South Oxfordshire.​

Their aim is to make Stand Up Paddleboarding accessible to all people and all age groups.

They are pleased to say that everyone that has taken part in their lessons and tours has finished the session having improved their skills and confidence on a paddleboard
