Based in East Ilsley, Jill Hobbs is a contemporary artist whose work explores the emotional landscapes of memory, identity, and the natural world.
Drawing inspiration from her life experiences, Jill’s latest collection is a deeply personal reflection that weaves together themes of portraiture and nature, with her love of water playing a central and symbolic role.
Her practice combines observational detail with expressive technique, capturing the quiet intensity of human connection and the fluid beauty of natural forms.
Jill invites viewers to engage with the stories held in each piece of work.
With a background rooted in creative exploration of human connection and a lifelong love of the outdoors, Jill’s work resonates with authenticity and emotional depth.
The Beyond the Surface exhibition marks a new chapter in her artistic journey, offering insight into the profound and poetic relationships that shape our inner and outer worlds.
