During lockdown and fed up of zoom calls, Jon felt he could spend his time better.

Berkshire Trout decided that food should be much more local and sustainable.

They decided to approach Berkshire Trout Fram to see if they could take it on as tenants and they started operating in September 2020.

The farm is mainly a restocking farm, but after tasting the produce they decided to share this sustainable fish with others.

They set up the Berkshire Trout Shop to produce and sell fresh, cold and hot smoked trout products locally.
