Founded in 2006, the Christmas Market is recognised as one of the best in Europe, renowned for its unique location, high quality exhibitors and bustling atmosphere.
Wonderful Christmas gifts, decorations and festive foods can be found in abundance.
The Christmas Market is inspired by traditional German Christmas markets and attracts more than 350,000 visitors each year.
The pretty wooden chalets are situated in the Cathedral’s historic Close surrounding an open-air real ice rink.
All their exhibitors have been hand-picked for their interesting, high quality and unique products many of which can’t be bought on the high street.
There’s plenty of choice when it comes to food and drink at the Christmas Market. You’ll find chalets selling festive favourites such as, mulled wine, bratwurst, mince pies and stollen. Alternatively, their Cathedral Refectory and ice rink café provide a warm and comfortable setting with plenty of seating and great menus.

This family event which you must book in advance includes a host of festive fun and activities, including Winter Wonderland ice skating, big top shows, an observation wheel and a huge Christmas market (rides and attractions cost extra).
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is London’s spectacular Christmas destination! Located in the heart of London, get ready to fully immerse yourself in all things festive.
This year there is loads in store with exciting attractions including the world’s tallest transportable Observation Wheel, the Magical Ice Kingdom, Ice Skating, Zippos Christmas Circus, Bar Ice, Ice Sculpting Workshops, Santa Land, Christmas Markets, Christmas Parties, Ice Slide, Street Food, Fire Pit, Haunted Mansion, Ice Mountain, and much much more.

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, it was founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century and it has since been the home of 40 monarchs.
Highlights include State Apartment (Cermonial and Historic Rooms), Semi-State Rooms, Queen Mary's Dolls' House, Moat Room and much more.
After the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, St George's Chapel is likely to be the most important stop on any visit.
St George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England. Construction of the present Chapel began in 1475 under the reign of Edward IV.
When visiting make sure you look up and admire the stone ceiling, which was added by Henry VII.
The Chapel has been the location of many royal weddings and funeals.
Within the Chapel are the tombs of 11 monarchs, including Queen Elizabeth II, George VI, Henry VIII and Charles I.
Among the many monuments in the Chapel, look out for the spectacular marble memorial by Matthew Wyatt to George IV's only child, Princess Charlotte, who died in childbirth in 1817.
