Sustainability Fund exists to empower the communities we serve to create real, meaningful impact
by connecting people with funding to improve our communities. Since The Fund’s inception in
2021, we’ve supported over 640 projects across the UK with more than £514,000 in funding that
has strengthened community and environmental connection. As we head into 2026, I look forward
to seeing even more inspiring ideas come forward and the positive change they’ll bring to local
environments and communities.
“
Councillor Stuart Gourley, West Berkshire Council Executive Portfolio Holder
for Environment and Highways said: “Veolia’s Sustainability Fund is a fantastic opportunity
for local groups to bring forward ideas that make a real difference in their communities. From
supporting biodiversity to encouraging more sustainable ways of living, these projects help protect
and enhance the environment we all rely on.
“It’s great to see funding being made available in this way, supporting local people to take action
and create lasting benefits for their communities and the wider district.
