There will be 2 BIG science shows run by the experts at Bright Sparks Science for which you’ll need tickets:
– 1pm Amazing Air
The Abbey clergy will be walking on custard (rather than water…) at around 2pm – completely unmissable!
This is great fun (you may even get to have a go yourself…) and also a classic demonstration of a non-Newtonian liquid.Â

Forest Church does Science
Their massively popular monthly Forest Church has created special science tables for the under 6’s with simple hand-on experiments based on the environment.
It’s right next to the tea table so you can eat and drink while you science.

The biennial Dorchester-on-Thames Festival is one of Oxfordshire’s leading Festivals based in and around the stunning location of Dorchester Abbey.
