A lively, industrious bunch with muddy boots and big dreams.

For three generations, they’ve toiled and toasted to the land that fuels their passion for British farming.

They’re not just working a farm, they’re crafting a legacy rooted in hard work, humour and a love for all things local.

Their vineyard offers a range of experiences that blend relaxation and education.

The Vineyard

Rowles Farm was founded back in 1969 by their Grandfather, Norman.

They can thank him for planting the well-known kissing trees atop the hill that mark the beginning of their farmland as you enter West Ilsley, which also inspired their new vineyard logo.

Since Norman, Rowles has grown into the Farm, Vineyard and Family that you see today.

At their core, hard work and dedication is about rolling up your sleeves and giving it your all.

It is the unwavering commitment to their craft, from the early morning starts to the meticulous attention they give to each crop.

They take pride in every task, striving for a job well done.

Especially when there’s a beer and burger from Sandra waiting at the finish line.

It’s a little cliche but when it comes to farming work hard, play hard really rings true (well, in their family it does).

And whilst they make sure to do their jobs to the best of their ability, they make it just as much of a priority to enjoy the process too.

Their  practices support the long-term health of our land and community by embracing new technologies and regenerative farming methods.

Six and a half hectares provide space for 30,000 grapevines of three varieties bearing the names Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir and Bacchus.

This isn’t just wine, it’s a story of dawn-to-dusk dedication and their unwavering vision for a sustainable future.
