Yvonne is one of the three Directors of Ardington School of Crafts, alongside her husband Simon and their daughter Gemma.

Before stepping into her role at Ardington, Yvonne had a career in the city and was the  the author of the Amazon best-selling book ‘The New Rules of Living Longer – how to survive your longer life,’ which highlights the amazing benefits of art and creativity for both mental and physical well-being.

With her enthusiastic and fun teaching style, Yvonne keeps things lively and action-oriented!

In her chat with Paul, Yvonne shares all the exciting courses they offer at Ardington School of Crafts.

Yvonne’s Career Highlights and Achievements
In the arts world, she served as the former Vice Chair of Trustees at the Royal Female School of Art and has exhibited and sold her watercolours locally for many years.

On the gardening front, she has studied garden design at RHS and KLC, and their lovely garden has even been featured in Country Homes and Interiors, in the ‘Beauty by Design’ article.

From 2024 their onsite workshops are being held at The Victory Room, Bucklebury.
