When it comes to comfort food, dumplings never fail to deliver.
The Polish have pierogi, the Italians have ravioli, the Chinese have dim sum – and in Turkey they have ‘manti’.
Join their cooking class and learn how to make authentic Turkish manti dumplings – delicate dumplings filled with seasoned lamb mince.
You will master how to roll and cut the dough, folding techniques, classic yogurt sauce and buttery chilli sauce to finish.
The course also includes a refreshing crisp pomegranate radish salad.
You will finish with a light fragrant apricot desert.
You will learn to cook:Â Â
- Manti – Lamb mince filled dumplings served with tangy garlic yoghurt sauce and finished with aromatic tomato, paprika, mint and sumac butter.
- Turp Salatasi – Crushed radish, dill, sesame seed and pomegranate salad
- Kayisi Tatlisi – Walnuts and cream stuffed poached apricots
For lunch you will enjoy fruits of your labour, accompanied by a delicious glass of wine.
