Green Fest

The festival will be packed with expert speakers, thought-provoking exhibitions, a children’s forest school, a market showcasing sustainable products, live entertainment, and local food. Additionally, there will be a wide range of professional sustainability advice on offer (covering a range of topics such as electric vehicles and low impact energy solutions) activities, interactive workshops and many many games for the children of all ages.

Their speaker line up is huge with 3 different programs across 3 different venues.

  • “Climate Change and the UK” at the Litten will host experts from across many disciplines and steer the conversation on climate change and ecological breakdown to UK impacts. The day will close with a panel discussion.
  • “Me & My Community at the Church” will address the environmental issues here in West Berkshire and how we as individuals, groups and communities can get involved in positive change.
  • “Join the Dots at the Good Life Hub” will explore the connection between people, economy and the planet. This panel of experts will discuss the environmental and ethical challenges businesses and consumers must contend with.

They aim to keep this event as low waste as possible so they recommend BYO cups, cutlery and Tupperware.

Their goal at GreenFest is to showcase the many sustainable solutions available to us and make it accessible for everyone. They hope it will be an educating, inspiring and fun filled day for families and people of all ages looking to make impactful changes in their lives (and on the planet) - and have FUN while they do it!

  • Sparkle Bright Summer

    Sparkle Bright Summer

Welcome to the Sparkle Bright Summer at Tumblestone Hollow this August. The giant Sparkle Bright flowers are set to bloom at Tumblestone Hollow just in time. Tumblestone Hollow will be looking spectacular with lots going on including story telling, bubbles and our Tumblestone-themed temporary transfers.

Enjoy delicious food and refreshments including mouth watering wood fired pizzas made by our Italian pizzaiolo, soft serve gelato ice cream from Bologna and hand blended American style milk shakes.

Tickets to the Sparkle Bright Summer must be purchased in advance.  Tickets are timed and allow access to the Tumblestone Hollow Adventure Playground and Stonor Gardens.

If you have never been to Tumblestone Hollow then welcome to their mysterious World which has been hiding in plain site, right under our noses for many millennia. Throughout this time, the people who live there have been quietly going about their business, keeping the standing stones safe, that surround their magical home.

Finally, after more than 552 and a half years of careful negotiation between the Stonor family and the people of Tumblestone Hollow, they have agreed to let us all in to their wonderful world.

It’s a place of laughter and light, shadow and sunshine, peace and tranquility and most of all, it’s a place to play with friends, with family young and old, and most importantly a beautiful, magical place to play together.
