Wasing Estate
Wasing has been in the same family for seven generations. In 1759, John Mount discovered the Wasing estate, and wanted a country retreat away from the hustle of trade in London where his publishing business had been a great success. Swapping mapping for farming, the family took to country life, and have remained in situ ever since.
Medicine Festival
Set within the picturesque Berkshire countryside, Medicine will take place on the stunning Wasing Estate, which covers several thousand acres of farmland, and features parkland, woodland and lake.
19th – 23rd August 2021.
Wild Swim & Saunna
A brand new addition to their wellness offerings, an authentic outdoor sauna and wild swimming experience in the heart of the woodlands. Inspired by the Scandinavian tradition of hot and cold immersion therapy, this experience provides a host of health benefits, from cardiovascular, to mental wellbeing and deepening social connections.
Food
Wasing’s woodland is full of delicious goodies to forage for, including edible wild mushrooms, nuts, hedgerow berries and forest plants plus Crayfish from the rivers. Estate sourced wild venison, pigeon and rabbit are also available. Let their chef work with you to create a knock out experience, cooked over firepits or in the wood burning outdoor oven. The woodland kitchen is a superb facility yet still blends in beautifully within its natural surroundings.
