There is nothing better than the sound of a brass band at Christmas! Well, this year, the team at Wantage Band are going one step further and combining the festive concert experience with the magic of cinema. The 1982 family favourite, The Snowman, has a special place in the hearts of so many and it’s no surprise that a performance of the full soundtrack, along to the film on the big screen, is proving a huge hit with ticket sales now 600+ to four screenings of this on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December at The Beacon – the perfect venue in the centre of the town.

In these one-hour family concerts, the band will stick to the theme of cinema and feature music from other popular titles such as The Polar Express and Frozen.

“We’ve been waiting patiently to put on this event for two years and it’s finally almost here! It’s essential that we connect with a younger audience and the families in our community and we hope that these concerts will do just that this Christmas!”(Sam Wyne)

There are still some tickets left which can be booked at Adults £12, Children £8, Under 2s FREE (on laps). This really is the must see Christmas event of 2021!
