Honesty Cookery School

The Honesty Cookery School was established in 2014 and since then has welcomed many cooking enthusiasts through its doors. It offers an extensive choice of courses covering most international cuisines, bread baking, cake making, pickling and preserving, cake decorating, fish and butchery.

As well as cookery courses the school also hosts craft classes, painting, creative writing, flower arranging and very popular Christmas wreath courses. Our tutors come from a variety of backgrounds but are all united in their passion for teaching people how to cook in a relaxed, uncompetitive manner.

The cookery classes usually run from the morning until the early afternoon. Most courses involve lunch and there is always something to take home to enjoy.

The courses are designed so that they appeal to most levels of experience in the kitchen. The class sizes are kept small so that the lessons are very much hands on. People learn more effectively when they are actually doing the cooking. The school is situated in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, with unspoilt views across fields and the North Hampshire Downs.

    Pondero – Exercise your mind

Pondero Talks are designed to exercise your mind. Given by experts in each field, the talks are open and interactive, and cover a range of topics from Psychology to Engineering, all designed to keep minds active.
The set of talks created for Honesty Cookery School can be booked on the Pondero website through the link on their website.

Kels Noades will be running a hands-on Pondero session, you can have a play with Canva and walk away with some of your own designs if you would like to. Canva is an amazing tool, whether you are using for home or business use. It makes designing a party invite, dinner party menu, Powerpoint slide, Facebook header or Instagram posts for your business, really easy. Canva will save you time (and money) and create something that used to take hours in design software.

Don’t worry if you’re completely new to Canva or have used it before, either way, you’ll come away with some helpful hints and tips to elevate your designs.

Kels Noades was a Head of Art at secondary school for many years, she is an award winning photographer and has taught Canva during her workshops to photographers from all over the world. Kels has been using Canva since it launched (it has come a long way since then!). She now uses it in her Thermomix business and home life – her kids have been known to wow their teachers with the designs made using it.  Feel free to bring laptops and tablets so you can have an experiment with designs during the talk.

They will begin the session with coffee and networking – a chance to meet with new and familiar faces in their beautiful green oak barn.
