Game Your Thrones

Inspired by the iconic show, Game Your Thrones is a challenging event requiring mental skill and physical ability as teams compete to ascend the throne!

This challenge will involve all of your team in an interactive and exciting themed team building event with the winning team being awarded the honour of reigning supreme! A series of themed challenges and games will be set for each ‘House’ with teams gaining valuable time in line with the degree of their success. The event concludes with a Wild Fire finale as each house pulls together to beat their opponents. All activity takes place under the watchful eye of The King. Does your team have what it takes?

Belgian Chocolate Making

Belgian chocolate making workshops are perfect for any corporate occasion. This includes a history of chocolate, a demonstration and then the main event – chocolate making!

A fun ice breaker starts the session. Enjoy a fascinating talk about the cocoa bean, its origins and history, and how it becomes a chocolate bar from a bean. Watch a professional chocolate demonstration on how to make a selection of delicious Belgian chocolates, beginning with making ganache (fillings) to the art of tempering and dipping chocolate. Taste, shape, dip, and decorate 15 to 20 chocolates using your new found skills. Elegantly gift wrap them to take away and share or keep as a reward for your efforts.

Crystal Mazed

Teams are required to complete a series of activities in four themed zones and must use their skills wisely using their strengths in order to rack up the Crystal rocks in their bid for success. With intriguing titles ranging from Chemical Imbalance to Xocolatl Pot, each of the unique themed challenges have a Mental, Physical or Skill slant, meaning that Crystal Mazed has something challenging for everyone.

Spaces to suit any guest list -Tucked away on the top level of the hotel, the Sonoma suite is our most private room. It also benefits from its own syndicate room and bathrooms, With its own private entrance and our sixteen Atrium Suite bedrooms nearby, this space is ideal for those in search of semi-exclusive use. The California Suite is our biggest event space. With room to seat up to 160 guests, it's perfect for conferences, banquets, and awards ceremonies.

In our Oakville Suite, you'll find large windows, room for 100 guests, and a mural depicting the Peter Michael Winery in California.

Part of our California Suite, and in close proximity of the Californian bar, Calistoga is perfect for private dining, smaller meetings and gatherings.

It's no secret that they have a fondness for four-legged friends.

With beautiful gardens to roam, and endless country walks on their doorstep, it's easy to see why they've become known as one of the best dog-friendly hotels in Berkshire.

Just like their human companions, all dogs staying with them will have a comfy bed for a great night's sleep.

Plus, they'll enjoy a selection of treats, premium dog food, and have free reign of all their outside facilities.

They'll even provide maps of all the best places to explore nearby.

Please let them know by phone or email in advance if you're planning to bring your dog with you.

When booking your room, they'll take a few details from you including your pup's name, age and breed.

They welcome all dogs at The Vineyard, but they do have a few house rules:

  • They allow a maximum of 1 medium-sized dog or 2 small dogs per bedroom.
  • A number of ground-floor Atrium Suites have been designated as dog-friendly.
  • However, they'll need to know in advance if you'd like to book one of these rooms - just so they can ensure they have one available.
  • There will be a charge of £30 per dog per night to cover the cost of deep cleaning and the use of bedding/bowls.
  • You'll also need to bring your own dog food with you.
  • They want you and your dog to enjoy your time with them, but,  do ask that you be respectful of other guests.
  • They understand that accidents can happen, but we may charge for any damages.
  • For health and safety reasons, they exercise a strict ‘dogs on leads’ policy around the hotel and grounds.
