Their annual event is organised and run by volunteer members and friends of the Swallowfield Horticultural Society.
The show is run for the benefit of the community and they aim to provide good quality traditional family entertainment and to raise money for local charities.
They rely on the help and goodwill of a large number of local people, who all give whatever time they have available to make the show a success.
If you would like to become involved, please contact Graham at chairman@swallowfieldshow.co.uk
Their horticultural marquee is at the core of the Swallowfield Show.
It is one of the most popular attractions, where gardeners, crafters, artists, photographers display their products and compete for the long list of prizes.
They encourage everyone to enter a class – there are entry classes suitable for experts and beginners, young and not-so-young, across a wide range of crafts and activities.
There will be motorcycle display teams, gun dogs, marching bands, falconry display, circus skills workshop, go karts, sled dogs, crazy golf, football, funfair, classic vehicles, dog show and horse show – plus more….
