The Filthy Llamas + Selina and the Howlin Dogs
Thursday 7th October
Doors open 7.30pm, starts 8.00pm
The Couch, Bracknell

The Filthy Lamas is made up of 5 musicians with a long pedigree of playing in well-established bands across to the south of England who have come together to let their hair down and play whatever feels right at the time. Feeling right at this time is a blend of rock covers including tracks from ZZ Top, INXS, Oasis, The Clash, Queen and last but certainly not least the Osmond’s. Selina and the Howlin Dogs are a 4-piece band based in Reading with female lead vocals coupled with a classic power-trio playing blues fused with rock, funk with a dash of hip hop giving their music an upbeat contemporary feel.

American Wilderness Odyssey Tour
Steve Bonham & the Long Road
Wed 6th Oct – South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell
Thurs 7th Oct – The Harrison, London
Fri 8th – Printers Playhouse, Eastbourne

The Long Road were formed with a single mad idea to go back to the source to explore and reimagine what might grow out of the great musical roots of USA; a crazy notion to try distil something original and powerful from the elements that made some of the most potent music ever heard by human ears. The band call it Moonshine Music: taking a few simple, authentic ingredients adding a little heat and magic to try to conjure up some rare, raw spirit. It features as fine a bunch of rogues as ever hit a recording studio or a dirt stage each bringing a distinctive experience and musical imagination. Steve Bonham a songwriter working in the American Folk/Country , (guitar, slide, mandolin and guitar/bazouki ); Chris ‘The Bishop’ Lydon on piano channelling some swampy New Orleans piano, and ‘The Big Man’ Kev Moore 40 years of rock’n’roll on bass, guitar and drums.

On Monday 23rd March 2020 the United Kingdom went into lockdown because of Covid-19 and the coronavirus pandemic. Gavin decided to keep on playing his regular Tuesday and Saturday night gigs – the only difference is that he’s now playing from a small wooden summer house in his garden. The shows are filmed by webcam, and are broadcast simultaneously across the globe on Facebook Live.
