Coming up this week from GSMC we have the next in our Showcase Sessions live behind closed doors from the Fiery Bird Music Venue in Woking on Thursday with The Lost Trades and Vic Cracknell starting at 7.30pm, live on YouTube and our Online Music Club takes place every evening live on Facebook. Following new releases last week from The Salts and Paul Alexander Low next week see’s the release of ‘ Broken Can Still Be Beautiful’ a album of piano instrumentals by Simon Driscoll from Tomorrow Bird, the new single ‘Golden’ by Ajay Srivastav from his forthcoming new album ‘Powerless’ and ‘Road of Solid Gold’ from The Lost Tradesand featuring Peter Knight from Steeleye Span and Gigspanner. Our weekly New Original Music Playlist features 20 tracks from 20 different artists.

Fiery Bird Showcase Sessions Online
The Lost Trades & Vic Cracknell
Thursday 29th April – Starts 7.30pm  

 Our Fiery Bird Showcase Sessions Online continue (behind closed doors) on Thursday 29th April with an exciting line up starting at 7.30pm with new trio The Lost Trades featuring Tamsin Quin, Phil Cooper & Jamie R Hawkins who release their debut album ‘The Bird, The Book & The Barrell’ this Summer. They will be joined on the night by Vic Cracknell a Surrey based singer songwriter who has been hosting online shows 3 times a week throughout Lockdown as well as when possible performing in Care Homes for residents. He has just released his new album ‘Rediscover’ and for this performance he will be performing original songs, This series of events which are supported by Arts Council England.

The Salts will be performing at Music in the Park Godalming on Sunday 27th June which starts at 2pm, admission free. The Salts who are one of the most exciting and energetic concepts around performing original material alongside their own interpretations of traditional songs we all know and love. The band feature five seasoned musicians collectively performing a mixture of instruments as well as great harmonies and are guaranteed to get the crowd singing and dancing along.

The new single ‘Shine’ from Paul Alexander Low is out now and available on all major digital platforms including Spotify, Amazon & iTunes and the video is available on YouTube. ‘Shine’ pays tribute to all the Frontline Workers during the Pandemic and is in support of the Charity Mind.

Recreating the sights & sounds of The Beatles Hamburg & Cavern Club beginnings! The R ‘n’ Beatles play a blistering set of the terrific tunes that made up The Beatles’ live set in their early, pre-Fab Four days. Come along and jive your bobby socks off to belters like Long Tall Sally, Twist and Shout & Lucille. Smooch and sway to You Really Got A Hold On Me & Till There Was You. Plus, of course, plenty that Lennon and McCartney penned themselves like Saw Her Standing There, This Boy & I Wanna Be Your Man. All played in that great Beatles style! No wigs, but possibly leather trousers!!
