The Hind’s Head is a lovingly restored 15th century coaching inn in Aldermaston, located in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. With fresh food, real ales on tap and 15 superb bedrooms to stay in, the pub is a wonderful place to dine, drink and stay.

The fantastic location, close to Highclere Castle and Kennet and Avon Canal, makes us a great base for walkers, hikers and nature lovers alike. From here, you can easily explore the stunning natural surroundings and all the local attractions.

What makes the ideal dining experience? At The Hind’s Head, it’s a mouth-watering selection of classic British dishes, made from the best locally sourced ingredients. It’s a passionate team of talented chefs who really care about great ingredients. And it’s the perfect drink to enjoy alongside your meal.

At The Hind’s Head, you can feast on delicious pies served with generous helpings of mash, or treat yourself to black pudding from Owton’s, Hampshire’s award-winning family butchers. They offer an array of daily specials, so you can try something new every time you visit, and their hearty Sunday roasts will keep you coming back week after week.

On tap, you can expect to find the renowned Fuller’s cask-conditioned ales and beers that their regulars love so much, including the famous London Pride. Wine-lovers can choose from an extensive selection of bottles from around the world, and they offer a host of other drinks, including premium spirits, ciders and cocktails.

Visit them on a Friday between 3pm and 8pm, and you can get two cocktails for the price of one. And while you enjoy your drink, how about choosing some gourmet bar snacks to go with it? Take your pick from their varied menu.
