The Ultimate Aqua Park
Introducing the Thames Valleys newest Aqua Park coming to Caversham Lakes. Have fun with your friends, family or colleagues by heading across our new and exciting floating obstacle course. Suitable for all ages (6 years +).
The family beach is a great place to relax this Summer. Come and enjoy one of the largest beaches in the South of England, with lots of activities from open water swimming, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, aqua park and more – we have something for everyone. Entry to the family beach allows you access to all general areas, including food court & picnic areas. Sunbeds can also be hired online to make your beach experience even more relaxing. The perfect way to soak up all the sun! Light paddling and limited swimming is available from the family beach for those 3+ years of age (all children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult).
Open Water Swimming
Open Water Swimming is a truly different experience from the pool, and one all swimmers should try at least once!
Without the confines of lane ropes or walls, it’s liberating, adventurous and unique.
Most people find the freedom and lack of chemicals so invigorating they can’t help coming out of the water feeling happy and relaxed, so whether you are experienced or new to this fast-growing sport, come and enjoy the best open water swimming experince at Caversham Lakes.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Standup Paddle Boarding (SUP) is a rapidly growing water sport and a fantastic way to keep fit.
If you are looking to try something new or perhaps you want to mix up your training this season, then why not pop down to Caversham Lakes and have a go.They have lots of boards available for hire so please book online to reserve yours.
Kayaking & Canoeing
Caversham Lakes provides a fantastic opportunity to take to the water in a kayak or canoe. Bring your own kayak or canoe and explore this beautiful lake. With two islands to paddle around and a large lagoon full of untouched natural waterways, there is over 80 acres of water to enjoy. Current booking are just for private kayak and canoe owners only. The launch fee is to use your own kayak or canoe for a 1 hour session at Caversham Lakes.

Ava’s Café is beautifully situated at Caversham Lakes and open all year round, the Café offers a variety of foods for breakfast, brunch, lunch and beyond.

Swim for all . Looking to relax in the pool or book for a group of people? . Lane swimming is available. Focus on your fitness and book a time slot for lane swimming. Alternatively you can use the Leisure Centre app. There is also an outdoor lido available at certain times during the year.
Located in the heart of Hungerford they are a leisure centre offering a 25m Swimming Pool, 28 station Gym, 4 court Sports Hall Dance Studio, and 4 Outdoor Tennis Courts. If you have any questions or need more information please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Located in the heart of Newbury, Northcroft Leisure Centre offer a 25m swimming pool, 72m outdoor swimming pool, 63 station gym, sports hall, 2 squash courts and a friendly onsite café.
The paddling pool will be closed from Sunday 5th September until the school summer holidays in 2022. There are still some places available for the 10am, 12pm, 2pm sessions on the last day, Saturday 4th September. Entry will be by online booking only. Book here.
We have two ticket options available:
£2.50 for anyone of any age entering the water, and
£1 for adults who need to enter the pool area to supervise children but not the pool itself.
All children must be supervised by an adult. Anyone entering the water must wear a swimsuit. Babies to wear waterproof swim nappies please.
There are toilets on site next to the Cafe but no changing rooms.
How long is a pool session?
Bookings are for a 1 hour 45 minute session (15 minute window for our staff to clear the pool and get the next group in).
Serving fresh, homemade, locally sourced food Jackson's California Lake is a lovely place to refuel in the peaceful backdrop of the country park. Public toilet facilities are available with disabled access.
