The Crown and Garter, Inkpen | West Berkshire Villages
Situated in the picturesque village of Inkpen, the Crown and Garter is a traditional English pub with stylish rooms, a restaurant and bakery. It opens onto a lovely garden. A range of cuisine is served in the restaurant and you can sample delights from the bakery, run by the property’s pastry chef. The menu at the Crown & Garter is influenced by the seasons. They have a great breakfast menu which they hope is a little different from other places. Their lunch menu offers a lighter way to eat during the day with strong emphasis on seasonal vegetables. In the evenings their menu is wide in appeal while adhering to the seasonality principle. They don’t have a children’s menu but they do charge children’s prices and serve children’s portions. They have a range of specials that change daily.
If you’d like to arrange a special meal, they have a private dining room available for groups, email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
It would be hard to be unbiased , as the Crown & Garter has hosted many of our Christmas get togethers as a family, as well as other times. They are very good at handling large parties – but the garden – with appropriate clothing – has always been a draw as the younger members have been growing up.
