Love HeartWood is the sustainable woodturning business founded by Liz Pearson. She creates handmade wooden gifts, toys and homeware for eco conscious families who want to live in a more meaningful way. Designed and handmade by Liz on her woodturning lathe, every piece is a unique celebration of our connection with nature and each other.

As well as creating her own products, Liz also accepts commissions, runs a wooden toy repair service and gives beginner’s woodturning lessons .

The crocus egg is one of six handmade decorative easter eggs that make up the Spring Garden Collection. The collection was inspired by Springtime, the season of rebirth and renewed hope. Each carefully selected flowers’ meaning is listed below. The eggs are handmade from reclaimed, local beech by myself. Beech trees are associated with creativity and wisdom and then illustrated by hand using india ink.
