Hermitage Primary School | West Berkshire Villages
They aspire for children to be the best they can be, leading an active life, promoting health and well-being, achieving success to help them make their dreams a reality. Their vision is that children are nurtured to be Self-motivated, Hardworking, Inclusive, take on New challenges, Enjoy learning and Show respect- because together everyone SHINES.
The village school prides itself on the delivery of a creative and inspiring curriculum that is designed to stimulate the learning of all pupils. All children possess unique skills and experiences and they aim to value and challenge these equally. They firmly believe that the emergence of a child’s interests and academic abilities is best supported by an environment that nurtures, rewards and celebrates achievements promoting a life-long love of learning.
They are really proud of our Ofsted judgment as a ‘GOOD’ school. They continually strive to improve and build on this; working in partnership with the whole school community- pupils, staff, governors and the wider community.
The overall aim at Hermitage is that their pupils leave them as confident, enthusiastic learners prepared to face the challenges that lay before them in their life ahead.
Our children are at the centre of everything we do.
Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and challenging environment, where we celebrate each other’s achievements. To develop our children, through a stimulating, creative curriculum and for them to play a positive role at the heart of our community.
To encourage everyone to be life- long learners and to strive towards excellence, we want our school to SHINE.
