Hampstead Norreys GreenFest 2020

OUR 2020 EVENT IS MOVING ONLINE

What can we say? We were so excited about GreenFest 2020…..and so so ready. But then the pandemic struck; and though things seem to be normalising as we write this in mid-July, we can’t be certain we won’t be hit with further lock down restrictions. While many are embracing a return to normal, for others it will be much longer before their confidence is restored. For these reasons we felt we had no choice but to reschedule our live Hampstead Norreys event to 4th September 2021.

But never fear. We’re a committed bunch here at GreenFest HQ and we can’t bear to exit 2020 without sharing at least a smattering of GreenFest inspiration.

We’ll be sharing our programme of events very very soon. Head over to our Facebook page @ourfacebook to stay abreast of plans for a mini online programme of events, which we’ll be rolling out over the course of the week commencing 31 August.

We are also in the midst of putting together a panel discussion for Thatcham Festival in October on the broad topic of:  Key Takeaways from COVID-19 and What a Green Recovery Looks Like. Remember to keep your eyes peeled for more information on this “GreenFest presents” event.

Make beeswax wraps with Little B, your own cleaning products with BZB Eco Store and Refills, cook along with Colline for some vegan meal inspiration, make bee houses with Ben’s Berkshire bees or get some fashion styling tips from personal stylist Victoria of Frankie and Ruby.

We also have some exciting projects to share with you from cycle paths connecting West Villages to fabulous ecobrick constructions and Hampstead Norreys Community Shop‘s latest venture – a traditional orchard.
