This summer at Blenheim Palace join Beatrix Potter in the garden of old Mr. McGregor and help rescue Peter Rabbit. Through a magical mix of storytelling, live performance, and puppetry, young Beatrix Potter Beatrix invites you to join her on an adventure to find her mischievous friend Peter Rabbit, as she leads guests through never-before-seen spots in the Palace's walled garden. Moving from flower and vegetable gardens to greenhouses and potting sheds, you'll get a glimpse of the estate no-one else has seen, whilst meeting friends Jemima Puddle-Duck, Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle and Mr. Jeremy Fisher along the way. Watch out for many more surprises on your journey!
his 50 minute immersive adventure is a must for any child who loves to explore the great outdoors, any family who treasures what you can learn from being in nature and any fan of the most beloved rabbit in children’s literature.
Take a break from the rescue to find Peter Rabbit in the Activity Area where children can release their creativity! There will be plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained, including colouring in, dot to dot, and ‘find Peter’.
The Peter Rabbit Farm Shop
Visit the Farm Shop where you will find all things Peter Rabbit. Choose your favourite book in the reading corner or take your pick from a selection of children’s toys. There will be a food cart outside with delicious fresh produce so you can grab a coffee, ice cream, and lots of other tasty treats!
Please note that separate tickets are required for visiting the Palace and Formal Gardens. Once you have bought your Peter Rabbit ticket, you will receive a 50% off code for Park and Gardens tickets only (not Palace, Park and Gardens or Annual Passes). This discount code cannot be applied retrospectively to tickets that have already been purchased.

Opening on Friday 5th August at Cobbs in Hungerford
Here's what you need to know:
- Their flower fields will be open seven days a week from 10am until 3pm.
- When you arrive please pop into the farm shop before visiting the flower fields.
- Entrance to their flower fields costs £10 and allows you and a group of up to 4 people to pick 5 stems each. Please pay in the farm shop and collect your snips there when you arrive.
- Over 18s only to handle their snips.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Please keep to the signposted areas.
- Sadly they can not allow dogs onto the farm due to the wildlife and other edible crops they are growing.
- Please return your snips back to the farm shop after picking.

City Arts 2022 flagship community event returns to Newbury Market place on Monday 8 August 2022 – join them from 10am to 4pm to chalk in the Market Square in Newbury
On the square you will be allocated an area per household to create roughly a 1 metre square picture in a safe environment – social distancing measures may be in place.
It is free to chalk but they ask you for a donation towards the chalk if you want to enter our 2022 competition.
To pay the donation entry fee you can add it to their donations bucket on the day or pay by card at the event (£1 per competition participant).
They’ll ask you to photograph the chalk artwork when you’ve finished and e-mail them the pictures of the chalk artwork, letting them know the age of the participant (when filling you details on payment).
The prizes will be City Arts Gift Vouchers for children (to 12 years old), teen (13 to 17 years old) and adult (18 +) categories.
Date: Chalkfest 2022 is on 8 August 2022 – pay your competition entry either cash or card on the day up to 4pm
Deadline: Pay your fee at the event and send us your images by 7pm on 8 August 2022 to email@example.com with the name of the entrant you told us when making payment and the entry number they’ll give you.
Competition results will be published on their Facebook page on week commencing 22 August 2022. The images will be judged by their chairman and artist Diana Pattenden. The judge decision is final.

Drop in to Pangbourne Library any time during opening hours to take part in their summer-themed treasure hunt for children.
Look out for their Gadgeteers treasure hunts in all libraries later in the month too, as well as colouring activities, word searches and quizzes.
