Laszlo is afraid of the dark. The dark lives in the basement. It doesn't visit Laszlo in his room. Until one night it does...
Join Laszlo on his journey to meet the dark, and find out why it will never bother him again. The Dark is accessible for blind and visually impaired children through integrated audio-description and touch tours.

City Arts 2022 flagship community event returns to Newbury Market place on Monday 8 August 2022 – join them from 10am to 4pm to chalk in the Market Square in Newbury
On the square you will be allocated an area per household to create roughly a 1 metre square picture in a safe environment – social distancing measures may be in place.
It is free to chalk but they ask you for a donation towards the chalk if you want to enter our 2022 competition.
To pay the donation entry fee you can add it to their donations bucket on the day or pay by card at the event (£1 per competition participant).
They’ll ask you to photograph the chalk artwork when you’ve finished and e-mail them the pictures of the chalk artwork, letting them know the age of the participant (when filling you details on payment).
The prizes will be City Arts Gift Vouchers for children (to 12 years old), teen (13 to 17 years old) and adult (18 +) categories.
Date: Chalkfest 2022 is on 8 August 2022 – pay your competition entry either cash or card on the day up to 4pm
Deadline: Pay your fee at the event and send us your images by 7pm on 8 August 2022 to email@example.com with the name of the entrant you told us when making payment and the entry number they’ll give you.
Competition results will be published on their Facebook page on week commencing 22 August 2022. The images will be judged by their chairman and artist Diana Pattenden. The judge decision is final.
