The “masters of G&S”, Charles Court Opera, return to the festival with their stylish, highly successful five star London production of the most loved of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic masterpieces, The Mikado.

Containing familiar songs including A wandering minstrel, I, I’ve got a little list and Three little maids from school, this punchy and hilarious satire promises to be a treat for operetta lovers and newcomers alike.

The production is directed by G&S specialist John Savournin, whose recent and current productions include Trial by Jury for Opera North, and HMS Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance in collaboration with Opera Holland Park.
