In this talk by Nick Young, a range of historic photographs will be shown highlighting some of the buildings, people and events in Thatcham.

Some of the buildings survive to this day and some do not, some scenes you may recognise and others you won’t believe how much they have changed.

Nick Young is a web developer, previously a teacher, with a passion for history.

Over the last few years he has written a number of history books, given talks and media interviews on the history of Thatcham.

Sharing the knowledge he has and the rich history of the area so others can learn and enjoy the heritage around us is what drives him.

Tickets for this in-person talk are £5 per person and they must be booked in advance.
