The Watermill Theatre collaborates with Zimbabwean theatre-makers ‘Two Gents’ in their joint retelling of Jane Austin’s MANSFIELD PARK. 

The contemporary take will disrupt Austin’s classic romance revealing a fresh perspective. When young Fanny Price is forced to confront the source of her family’s wealth and its true cost, she must ask some difficult questions to find out where she belongs and what it takes to be the heroine of your own life. 

MANSFIELD PARK will explore themes of belonging, love, and happiness. 

This new adaptation will tour to local villages in Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire for outdoor performances before playing in the Watermill Theatre’s gardens. 

Playing from Wednesday 28 June to Saturday 8 July.
