Following her appearance in the Petite Messe Solennelle on 7 May they are delighted to welcome back Lucy Crowe for this all-Strauss recital, originally planned for the 2020 Festival.

She is one of the leading lyric sopranos of her generation and performs in the world’s greatest opera houses, including Covent Garden where, in 2019, she starred alongside Joyce Di Donato in Handel’s Agrippina.

Accompanying Lucy is Anna Tilbrook, one of Britain’s most exciting pianists, with a considerable reputation in song recitals and chamber music.

Their recital will include some of the composer’s greatest vocal masterpieces including The Four Last Songs.
