Introduction to Hand EmbroideryThis beginner’s Introduction to Hand Embroidery workshop will introduce you to a number of simple and intermediate hand embroidery stitches.

A design kit including fabric, threads, needle, embroidery hoop, embellishments and stitch plan will be provided, with pencils and scissors available to borrow.

You will experiment with all the stitches together during the class on your choice of either a flower or leaf motif, starting with the very simple and then exploring some slightly more complex combinations.

They will also aim to add a few embellishments and spangles to enhance your embroidery.

By the end of the workshop, you should feel confident to complete any unfinished work at home.
