Winter is still upon us and hedgehogs are snuggled away in winter hibernation.

Go and join them at their nature reserve in Thatcham to learn more about where hedgehogs and other animals go during the cold months.

Enjoy a walk around the reserve and make a hedgehog-themed craft to take home. 

This event is suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event runs from 10am-2pm and tickets are available online (places limited!) .

Arrive at a time that suits you within that window, last start time 1pm.

Dogs

On a lead

Dogs are welcome on the reserve, but please keep them out of the lake.

They ask that you keep dogs under close control at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the visitor centre on a lead.

Mobility

Paths can get muddy after rain but are generally accessible for buggies and some wheelchairs.
