Bailey Tomkinson 2022
Hailing from St Ives, Cornwall as part of the ‘Kernowfornia’ music scene, Singer/Songwriter Bailey Tomkinson has made national headlines first when as an unsigned, unmanaged artist, she reached number one in the iTunes Video charts.
And then again when The Times showcased her song ‘Bright Red’ as a rallying cry for sustainability and social justice ahead of the 2021 G7 Summit in her home town.
Bailey recently enjoyed features in The Times, Metro, The Mail on-line and had a double page spread in Hello Magazine.
She was also invited to perform and talk about her recent success on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
She has been approached by Select Models Agency to join their talent board and is now in discussions with several major labels.
Bailey’s mastery of pop-country hooks and relatable emotional storytelling has earned her comparison with early Taylor Swift, Emmylou Harris and Maggie Rogers. Sonically “Silent Suffering” sees a slight shift in production from her earlier releases and is influenced by her love of artists such as Sam Fender, Sheryl Crow and Bruce Springsteen.
