The Swan is a beautiful 17th century listed building, situated in the picturesque village of Pangbourne with traditional setting oak beams and three open fires to keep you warm and cosy during those long and frosty winter nights. And for those lazy summer days we have a beautiful terrace overlooking the river Thames, perfect for drinking and dining and soaking up the summer sun.
YE OLDE RED LION @ CHIEVELEY
Traditional village pub and restaurant, with 5 B&B ensuite rooms. With its comfortable seating and open fire, they serve real ales and beers, and of course, a menu with meals and plenty of sweet treats.
THE CROWN AND GARTER, INKPEN
Having stood its ground since 1640 it is an integral part of Inkpen and the other surrounding villages. Set in picturesque countryside The Crown & Garter is the perfect stop for dog walkers, cyclists, ramblers or just those seeking an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a drink, a meal or both! We have disabled access, bike racks and dog bowls.
THE BLACKBIRD AT BAGNOR
Dom and Marliz Robinson have taken on a labour of love. It’s pretty, has an original tiled floor, an American harmonium in the corner (if anyone can play it they are welcome to contact the pub for carols around it this Christmas), and modern prints mixed with country cottage paintings. It simply exudes charm. But it’s the food that should lure you in. A short menu means seasonal and fresh dishes, and all served on delightful old-fashioned china. It was hard to fault anything

Rob has worked at many fine food establishments and alongside Catherine’s marketing experience they’re looking to make The Butt Inn a celebrated haunt amongst guests and locals alike. Catherine is an original Berkshire lass.

Now back in the hands of Kevin & Caz, they offer a warm welcome to everyone in their family friendly pub and restaurant. The Spotted Dog has a large private car park & newly enclosed garden and playground, safe for children & dogs. We do welcome dogs (See below), providing they are nice, clean and dry.
However in order not to upset our diners we DO NOT allow dogs into the pub throughout the times any food is being served.
