Painstakingly and sympathetically restored, refurbished and updated for the 21st-century, Wokefield House is an inspiring place to enjoy the De Vere Reserve experience.

As you approach the estate along the sweeping driveway, past the golf course and the ancient oak trees, the feeling of anticipation builds – and then Wokefield House is revealed in all its 18th-century splendour. Then the scene is set.

Park up and head through the towering doors into reception where the warmest of welcomes awaits. Welcome to De Vere Reserve at Wokefield House.

Freshly prepared, delicious meals

Simple and super fresh, the frequently changing menus at The View make the most of local produce and seasonality. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is a fine place to spend time with friends and family.

The wine list is excellent and varied, with fizz available by the glass.

Located in Wokefield Place, guests can enjoy a range of wines and beers in the bar, which is located just below the restaurant, along with comfort classics including gourmet deli burgers and hand-crafted pizzas.

Benedict’s Bar is situated on the ground floor of Wokefield Place and serves a selection of refreshing drinks, snacks and light meals. With its spacious terrace, large TV screens and relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere, it’s just the place to follow your sporting heroes, especially after an enjoyable round at the Wokefield Estate Golf Club in Berkshire

The 1560 Restaurant & Bar, located in the Mansion House, is a beautifully elegant space to enjoy breakfast and afternoon teas.

Over at the bar, a range of wines, craft beers and classic cocktails are on offer, along with a menu of lighter bites and nibbles.

A traditional afternoon tea in Berkshire

With sweeping views across the grounds and golf course, afternoon tea in the mansion house is a genteel and rewarding experience.

Alternatively, when the weather is behaving, afternoon tea can be taken al fresco on their elegant sun-trap terrace.

Their menu changes with the seasons, but you'll typically find such treats as sun-blushed tomato tarts, cream cheese, cucumber and watercress sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam.

And, if the occasion requires a little something extra, feel free to embellish the experience with a glass of Champagne.
