Step into the festive spirit as you tour the Castle State Rooms and Gallery Bedrooms, admire our Christmas decorations and discover our Shopping Marquee on the Castle Lawns with a selection of handpicked stall holders. There will also be a chance to explore a Winter Garden (weather permitting).our ticket includes:
•    Entry to the Castle and Egyptian Exhibition as part of a limited number of guests so no crowds and the ability to truly relax and enjoy your day. 
•    Time to admire the Christmas decorations from the spectacular 24-foot-high Christmas tree in the Saloon to the gorgeous garlands winding down the staircases and innumerable floral decorations.
•    An opportunity to sing along to Christmas carols.
•    A chance to complete your Christmas shopping either from our comprehensive gift shop or from a selection of handpicked stall holders selling a variety of products from decorations to gifts and festive food. 
•    A signed copy of Lady Carnarvon’s book “Christmas at Highclere”.
•    A cup of tea (or coffee) and slice of Christmas cake.

Doors open at 9.30am with last admission at 2.30pm and the grounds will close at 4.30pm. Tickets are split into two admission times. Morning ticket holders can enter the Castle between 9.30am and 12noon. Afternoon ticket holders can enter the Castle between 12noon and 2.30pm. The Tea Rooms, Gift Shop and Christmas stalls are open all day as are the Gardens, weather permitting.

The Tea Rooms will have warming coffees and croissants in the morning and offer a traditional selection of foods for lunch, including homemade soup made in the Castle kitchens, paninis and cakes. You will also find festive favourites such as mulled wine!
