A highlight of our summer social calendar, The Battle Proms is the perfect opportunity to gather friends and family for a spectacular and memorable night out in a stunning setting at Blenheim Palace.
Concert goers will enjoy an afternoon of breath-taking displays from the riders of the Battle Proms Napoleonic cavalry and The Red Devils – the British Army and Parachute Regiments official display team.
The Battle Proms Belles get toes tapping and champagne corks popping with their sing-a-long vintage vocals, warming up the audience for the full orchestral programme from the New English Concert Orchestra.
The opening pieces of the orchestral programme herald the arrival of the iconic Grace Spitfire, performing a meticulously choreographed aerial display. The audience are treated to classical favourites such as the 1812 overture and Battle Proms signature piece, Beethoven’s Battle Symphony, performed as he composed it with 193 live firing Napoleonic cannon providing a thunderous percussion!
Acclaimed soprano Denise Leigh leads the crowd in a jubilant flag-waving finale with Jerusalem, Rule, Britannia!, Land of Hope and Glory and more, before the perfect British summer evening closes with magnificent musical firework displays!
