Welcome to Amners Farm
Amners Farm is set just outside the village of Burghfield, near Reading in Berkshire between Junctions 11 and 12 of the M4 corridor.
Enthusiastically run by the Webber family and Amners Farm Team, the main activity of the farm is the production of high quality haylage and hay, primarily for the equestrian market. Alongside the farm’s arable activities, Amners also offers the following services and events:
- Equestrian services and facilities including DIY livery, Pony Club activities and BSJA training clinics
- Fully serviced business units for rent
- The Amnerfield miniature railway
Special events throughout the year which are open to the general public, including Amners lambing days and Amners miniature railway open days
- Amnerfield railway opened to the public in May of 1999. Since then, the railway has had many refinements and additions. Operated by an enthusiastic group of members who lovingly look after their engines and maintain the railway site, Amnerfield Railway attracts children and adults alike.
The track which is approximately 3/4 of a mile long, runs through part of the farm’s pasture and woodland, providing a picturesque view of the farm.
Open to the public on our two Lambing Weekends, the railway makes an excellent day out for the family and can also be hired for birthday parties.
