Aldworth is a beautiful rural village, close to the famous Ridgeway. The Ridgeway follows the same route used since prehistoric times by travellers, herdsmen and soldiers. It has two pubs, The Four Points and The The Bell at Aldworth.
The Four Points is a traditional 17th Century thatched building and has been trading as a pub for more than 350 years. Serving traditional style pub food, with vegetarian options, lighter lunches and gluten free dishes.
The Bell Inn at Aldworth, really is a classic experience.
The Bell Inn is a public house that has been in the Macaulay family for 250 years.
They pride themselves  on serving quality Real Ale and being a traditional classic Inn. It won CAMRA’s National Pub of the Year in 1990 and 2019. It is a grade II listed building and is the only pub in Berkshire with a grade II listed interior.
There is no music and they only serve rolls and ploughmans.
